Fujifilm X100 →
Fuji X100 camera is so cool, good and so tempting. I love the manual controls for aperture, shutter and exposure compensation. I love the 35mm equivalent ƒ/2.0 prime lens (ƒ/1.4 would be better tho). And I love the low light, super-clean, hi-ISO images in produces. Seriously thinking to buy one.

Why Nikon?
I have mechanical Nikon FM, plastic Nikon N65 film camera and digital D7000. For all of them I use one set of lenses, that’s all. You can not do this with Canon, Pentax, Sony/Minolta or any other SLR. Simple as that.
All modern Nikon cameras support all Nikkor lenses starting from 1959.

Film vs. Digital
Forget about it. Take your camera or even iPhone and shoot. Camera never defined good photograph or photographer, nor medium did. If Chase Jarvis can shoot brilliant photos on iPhone’s 5mpx camera, why can’t you? Technically, the era when digital cameras had low dynamic range and low resolution is also gone. My Nikon D7000 shoots photos in low light much better than my favorite Ilford...
